- to provide appropriate formal (e.g. NZQA-approved & NCRS courses) and/or informal (e.g. RCIA training programmes) leadership in the education, training and formation of lay people undertaking ministry roles within parishes;
- to further support the Bishop in the ongoing development and implementation of the diocesan pastoral plan for parish life in this new millennium.
