Course Purpose
The Certificate in Pastoral Ministry enables students to enrich their own understanding of faith and acquire the knowledge and basic skills required for ministry roles in parishes and other church settings. .
Course Structure
The Certificate in Pastoral Ministry is a programme of study that consists of courses in theology, scripture, and pastoral ministry, including a pastoral experience course, which is a practical component of the programme.
At this level students must complete the followingcourses:
- PM101 Church and Ministry
- PM102 Introduction to Liturgy
- SC 101 Introduction to the Old Testament
- SC 102 Introduction to the New Testament
- TH101 Introduction to Catholicism
- TH102 Introduction to Theology
- PE101 Experience in Ministry
Students are required to demonstrate competence in each course by the completion of set assignments.
